MJS PTO DIRECT DONATION 

2023-2024

IN LIEU OF TRADITIONAL FUNDRAISING, MJS PTO ASKS FOR A SINGLE DIRECT DONATION CONTRIBUTION OF $50 PER FAMILY

The MJS PTO asks for a one time donation in lieu of traditional fundraising activities. These donations support many activities for your child throughout the year.  Receiving your donation at the beginning of the school year enables us to plan and fund upcoming activities for the students for the entire school year.  While contributions are voluntary, we ask that each family contribute.  We appreciate any denomination that works best for your family.

Donations provide support for the following: 

• Outdoor classroom (designated outdoor learning space, improved black top play areas)
• Field Trips (allows our children to explore learning outside of the classroom and keep any additional field trip cost to a minimum)
• Cultural Arts (assemblies)
• End of the year student events/activities (Field Day, etc…)
• Community Events (Citizens Day Parade, GFFE Spelling Bee, etc.), 
• Teacher Stipends (helps teacher add those "extras" to their classrooms
• Playground maintenance and additions
• Teacher Grants (fund special learning/projects), and more!!

 Amount of $50/family donation to the PTO is suggested, but any amount is accepted and appreciated.  All Donations to the MJS PTO are tax deductible

Check with your employer - many businesses will match donations made to our 501c3 organization!
